Tornado Relief
Following the destructive tornado’s in the south Catalyst Church gave 10% of our offering one Sunday towards tornado relief through a non-profit organization called Immediate Tornado Relief.
Cruise Night
Catalyst was able to hand out over 1,800 bottles of water to those attending the Cruise Night on Main Street in Middletown.
Father’s Day
Catalyst hosted an free event for fathers and families with bounce houses, a bungee run, mechanical bull, food, and a time of worship. This event was held on a day that typically is one of the least attended Sundays of the year and Catalyst Church had it’s highest recorded attendance yet.
Team India
Catalyst Church donated funding along with the creation and design of Team India’s website. Team India was started by a young college student who wants to change the future of India by sharing the Word of God beginning with the children who are the future of India.
Cromwell Storm Shelter
During the October blizzard members of Catalyst Church partnered with the storm shelter in Cromwell to provide the people staying there with a warm meal and companionship during a time when they were unable to stay in their own homes.
Trunk-Or-Treat
At Halloween Catalyst Church provided children and families with a safe and fun environment for children to Trick-Or-Treat and receive tons of candy. The event was not just to ensure that children received candy but about living the living the life Jesus demonstrated by serving the people in our community.
Thanksgiving Meals
Members of Catalyst Church worked alongside our community to collect donations of complete Thanksgiving Meals for a family of 4 and provided over 500 people with a Thanksgiving Meal.
200 Bikes 200 Children
At Christmas members of Catalyst Church lived on a scissor lift for 48 hours in an effort to raise awareness and donations towards 200 new bikes. With the help of the community 260 new bikes were raised for children in Central Connecticut.
