There is a homeless shelter RIGHT here in our town (bet most never even knew that!). There are about 100 people staying at this homeless shelter. They are people just like you and I. Some made a few mistakes they haven’t recovered from. Some did nothing wrong. Some just lost their job and consequently lost their home. RIGHT HERE IN OUR BACKYARD!
Apparently this homeless shelter could use some help on Saturday nights. Catalyst Church is going to take care of the fourth and fifth Saturday of every month!
Here is the big part. FINANCIALLY AND PEOPLE WISE WE CANT AFFORD TO DO THIS. We just don’t have the people or the money. However, if we can’t take care of this I DONT WANT TO BE A PART OF CATALYST CHURCH FOR ANOTHER DAY. SERIOUSLY! This is what we are all about. Now its time to do something about this. This is a huge step of faith for us. God has called us to make a difference in the community, and thats all we have… God and a call. So, by faith we are going to step out and feed 100 plus people the fourth and fifth Saturday of every month!
